The bag is great as an everyday carry. It's got room for a compact camera (you can fit a mirror less body with a compact lens on, but it will protrude on the back of the bag).
The protection of the hard shell is great, though.

Honestly? This product is great. Feels very high quality and it fits my d810 with 2 lenses. Unfortunately couldn’t fit my big ipad or mac (didn’t expect it to) since it’s a smaller bag for everyday carry, but it’s 10/10 for that. Looks great, feels great, functional and the price is incredible. Also arrived early :)

Came without any damage. It is great. It does not look so big, kinda medium size, but it actually has a lot of space. Design is modern and it looks strong.
